Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can remember watching her mother while at work, and also attending practice sessions for plays. Silk made appearances in numerous commercials when she was a kid. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theater work in her early years included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting skills in November 1999. During the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. They were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They were married on the 10th of April in 2011. renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second child born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. She was hired as the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode. The news was announced for fans in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. The day before, on June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the production start date for Season Four. On June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was getting ready to go back to the set of the show. CNN listed Bo's role as Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! Magazine also declared it to be the best TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
